Join CPUSA-Boston Chair Edward Carson tonight, Feb 21st, from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Center for Marxist Education for an exploration of the Communist Manifesto.
Exactly 169 years ago today, on the eve of the French and German revolutions of 1848, Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels published the Manifesto of the Communist Party in London. It has since served as a point of reference for struggles against oppression around the world, and right here in the US.
The Manifesto presents an analytical approach to the class struggle and the problems of capitalism and the capitalist mode of production. It's framework allows us to look at our surroundings, measure our strengths and weaknesses, and mobilize the working class to make its historic transition to socialism.
