Low wages, income disparity, student debt slavery, police brutality, racism, and imperialist wars are killing our people. Marxism holds not the dogma, but the tools for us to use to fight back intelligently.
Under capitalism, local, state and federal governments tell us that basic necessities of life such as health care, education, clean water, housing and public transportation, cannot be properly funded because we lack the money. This is simply not true.
The scientific method used to see through this myth is known as Marxism, perhaps one of the most misunderstood schools of philosophical, political and economic thought in history. Under capitalism, our government is owned by the highest bidders, and priorities are made by its ownership, not by voters. Look at the vast exposure of graft, corruption and voter fraud in this past election alone. Local, state and national leaders refuse to fund basic social needs, and encourage so-called austerity budgets which cripple working people, older adults, people living with disabilities, and young people struggling in debt slavery.
Marxism is the science and art of working class struggle. Marxism enables us to analyze current events in our politics, economy, ecology and culture, and to develop effective methods to advance the day-to-day struggles of the working class and all people on the road to socialism.
